John Nash (1752-1835) is best known as the Regent’s architect; he introduced into London practices of town design which integrated streets, buildings and parks, which is shown in his development of Regent’s Park and Regent’s Street.

His scenic management of space extended to interior design, with the extension of Buckingham House.
